Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

If allpages is given an apfrom with a : in the title, all text upto the first : is removed, apparently under the assumption that this part is the namespace name. This causes problems when doing several allpages in a row, using the apfrom from one allpages search to be the apfrom for the next: If the apfrom happens to be a page with ':' in the title, the bot will jump to a completely different place in the alphabet.

To resolve this, I would propose to change the apfrom element in the output of allpages to have the namespace name prepended; alternatively one could remove parts of the title before the first : only if it is a valid name for the current namespace.
