On diff pages which show the difference between revisions of a page which separated by one or more edits, it would be useful to see how many edits have taken place between the two revisions without having to page through the history. This would also remove the illusion that can be created of a single user making many changes to an article by creating a diff of widely separated revisions. "36 edits by 5 users"

r18194 adds the number of intervening revisions to the diff view. I have not added the number of distinct editors, since I'd expect it to be harder on the database, and the semantics are somewhat harder to define. (Should the editors of both of the endpoint revisions be excluded? Only one? Neither?)
