Description Thomas Goldammer 2008-10-26 13:46:07 UTC
Please create a new Mediawiki message that is shown when one moves a page without creating a redirect. The standard message (MediaWiki:movepage-moved) used atm says (at least on many wikis) explicitely that a redirect was created which is obviously misleading. Maybe make a general message that only says "$1" has been moved to "$2" (which is already the default content for movepage-moved I guess) and two additional messages (for moves with and without redirect) that are shown immediately below that, explaining whether or not a redirect has been created.

BR,
Th.
