Description Purodha Blissenbach 2008-09-27 11:12:28 UTC
Whenever a new article in the ksh Wikipedia is created, or deleted, {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} does not change. It strictly remains at 9084 since days.

Btw. some time ago, it dropped by a few dozen, some days earlier by slightly less, without any apparent reason, and certainly not because of so many page deletions.

Since afaik all the tools that keep statistics pages updated on meta rely on either {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} or Special:Statistcs, which is currently broken, too, likely all published statistics since few days are wrong.

This is not a bug as such, updates to site statistics have been disabled, because of database issues. it's being worked on.

It's the same as Khmer Wikipedia (http://km.wikipedia.org/). A few pages were created but the statistics of kmwiki doesn't change.
Comment 3 Daniel Kinzler 2008-09-27 21:50:44 UTC
it's the same on all ~800 wikimedia sites, yes.

Comment 5 OiL 2008-09-29 10:58:20 UTC
New articles that were created during statistics had been disabled now are not in counter. Now in cu.wiki there are 331 articles, but stats page shows only 329 (2 articles were created during database issues).

On 2008-09-25 - 2008-09-26 in Lithuanian Wiktionary was created about 2760 new pages, but in {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} this pages is not calculated. May by is posible recalculate all counters?
