Description Huji 2008-09-24 13:55:04 UTC
Until sometime about a few weeks ago, one could login to bugzilla and stay logged in if they had unchecked the "limit to this IP" box upon login. This seems not to be working any more. Although the expiration date for bugzilla cookies are still the same (1 Jan 2038), you have to login every now and then. If I'm not wrong with my observations, there might be a glitch on the server's side, which causes the cookies to invalidated regularly.

I've noted this behavior a long time ago (likely, over a year ago). Every time my IP address changes, I get logged out of bugzilla, even though I uncheck the box. I've complained on IRC about this once, but didn't get any meaningful response.
Comment 2 Siebrand Mazeland 2008-10-20 22:23:12 UTC
This is not an issue about the configuration of bugzilla, but an issue about the behaviour of the software itself. Best report the bug to Bugzilla (http://www.bugzilla.org/developers/reporting_bugs.html). Suggest close as INVALID.
Comment 3 Siebrand Mazeland 2008-10-20 23:31:32 UTC
Should be reported upstream. Closed as INVALID.
