Description FT2 2008-09-19 21:48:58 UTC
At present the oversight log can be searched by name of oversighter, or page oversighted. But there is no way to search by the user whose edit was oversighted (ie whose name is on the oversighted revision).

What this means is if a case arises where a user has posted a privacy breaching edit, the log cannot easily be searched for previous occurances as they may have arisen on other articles, or been oversighted by other oversighters. Likewise for dynamic IPs there is no way to search for oversighted edits posted by a (specified) CIDR range, in the sense that, eg, checkuser can list edits made by a CIDR range.

This would be very helpful for cases where a named user or IP user may be posting defamatory or private material in a repeating manner, or may have done so in the past.

There is currently no index for this
Comment 2 FT2 2008-09-22 12:06:52 UTC
Can create? :)
Comment 3 FT2 2008-09-22 12:08:18 UTC
(The "oversighted revisions" table presumably isn't very large compared to others so possibly the data and load might be low?)
