Description Thunderhead 2008-09-14 07:04:35 UTC
https://secure.wikimedia.org/ is displaying the standard "Wiki does not exist" page. Maybe we should redirect to Meta?
Comment 1 JeLuF 2008-09-14 17:02:03 UTC
why meta?
Comment 2 Casey Brown 2008-09-14 22:10:05 UTC
Actually, another (better?) suggestion that was discussed on Wikitech-l was that it should be a portal page with a link to the secure gateways for the sites. Maybe base it off of www.wikimedia.org with links to http://secure.wikimedia.org/ instead? (It would be useful if we could edit it from Meta like the [[m:Project portals|other portals]], though this might not be possible.)
Comment 3 Thunderhead 2008-09-15 03:01:10 UTC
That'd be nice - I know that we can edit Www.wikimedia.org, so I don't see any reason that we shouldn't be able to edit the secure portal.

Done.

Edit http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Secure.wikimedia.org_template to change the page. You need to be an admin on meta to do so, so don't ask me to do it :-)
