Description DaSch 2008-09-11 08:26:20 UTC
Somehow Concepts does not work. But when using #ask instead of #concept the right pages are displayed, but when using the concept it does not work

I tried to reproduce this bug. On the above site, every concept fails (even those that query for all pages in a given namespace). All inline queries, however, work properly. I tried the same on various other MW installations, including wikis in German language. None of them shows the problem.

Could you please publish the contents of your database table "smw_conc2"? This may yield further insights.

there is no content

In SVN, I have now changed the data processing of SMW so that interplay with different extensions should be much more robust (I assume that some of the many extensions on your site are the cause of the problem). You may want to try the SVN version. Note that SVN has some major changes that could break compatibility with the previous stable releases of SMW extensions, so maybe try it only temporarily or on a test copy of your site. The current (presumably functional) SMW version I refer to is r41547.

SMW 1.4 is close to release. Please check if the problem still occurs in this version (using the current SVN, which is now also supported fully by SemanticForms SVN), so that we can try to fix this bug before release if needed.
Comment 5 DaSch 2008-12-08 09:20:16 UTC
well, I made the update to the newest SVN version, but the problem still remains.

When trying to create the concept cache with the maintenance script I get the message "No concept description found."
Comment 6 DaSch 2009-12-21 18:11:34 UTC
I added $smwgQConceptCaching = CONCEPT_CACHE_NONE; to my configuration and now it works, after I make a empty edit
Comment 7 DaSch 2010-01-19 14:14:17 UTC
I mark this as fiexed cuase it works and my wiki with having $smwgQConceptCaching = CONCEPT_CACHE_NONE; in my settings. Don't know I anybody else is having problems with this.
