The Meta logo was recently updated; please update the favicon to match. The image http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Wikimedia_Community_Logo.svg should be used.

As of IE8, the favicon on meta does not showing as desired. (I think this might happens on other version of IE too)

Reopening this one, the favicon currently using does not loaded properly on the IE browser. By the way, the icon in http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/tools/planet/favicon.ico?view=co can be used to having the favicon can be loaded properly.
