Description Purodha Blissenbach 2008-08-29 09:56:40 UTC
With this edit:
http://ksh.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=11_(Watt_%C4%97%C3%9F%C3%9F_datt%3F)&curid=343167&diff=876874&oldid=741371

a user having no privileges, as you can see:

http://ksh.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Spezial%3ABenutzer&username=Ary29&group=&limit=1

and here:

http://ksh.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Spezial%3AGlobale_Benutzerliste&username=Ary29&group=&limit=1

made an edit which now is not marked "yet to be patrolled", as
you can see both in the above diff, and Special:RecentChanges,
and was never partolled, too:

http://ksh.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Spezial%3ALogbuch&type=patrol&user=&page=11+%28Watt+%C4%97%C3%9F%C3%9F+datt%3F%29&year=&month=-1

so it has silently been marked as "partolled" either
with the edit, or within ~20 minutes when I saw it in
the Special:RecentChanges list, not having a red marker.

That should not happen!

Maybe, this is related with the new unified accounts?
Specificially foreign wiki users, imho, should not be self-
patrolling, no matter what their global rights are, unless
they have been granted appropriate local rights.
But since there is no log-entry, this was not an issue of
self-patrolling, of course.

What ever happened - this error seems to be something only display-related, and has meanwhile disappeared. Now, the mentioned change is listed as "not patrolled" having a red marker, and the appropriate links for rc-patroling are also there, at the usual places.

Thus marking this bug as solved (cannot reproduce)
