Description Thorsteinn A. Malmjursson 2008-08-27 17:57:01 UTC
When using the button on the extended part of the edit toolbar, it only produces the references themselves, it does not add Reflist to the end of the page, so the references you add do not appear as footnotes.

The required bits to make this work are in the Common.js, but its protected and i am unable therefore to edit it.

Could it be amended to add Reflist to the bottom of the article before categories so that the references appear.

Thanks

Bugzilla is only used for requesting action be taken by developers or system administrators. As I told you on IRC, this is not a software issue, it's a local configuration issue. The proper place for asking for changes to Common.js on the English Wikipedia is probably talk:Common.js, or maybe WP:VPR or WP:VPT.

I was informed later on, due to the fact i told you about the wrong thing, that it was advisable to place it here as a Feature request. This information was given to me by user Bryan in the IRC channel, Simetrical. Take it up with him, since he told me to post it here!
