If the current revision of a page is marked as "sighted", {{DISPLAYTITLE:...}} is ignored when the page is opened with the "stable=1" parameter. The problem is gone as soon as the "sighted" flag is removed from the current revision.

That's strange, the problem is gone. I'm on a different machine right now, though; I can't imagine what could be different (both are similar Linux machines with FF 3.0.1). I assume it's gone for good, but I'll check when I get home this evening (German time).

I'm now on the same machine again and I cannot reproduce the problem anymore.
