Description P. Birken 2008-08-17 17:13:14 UTC
Currently, sometimes older versions of articles are shown. So far, only cases were reported where the last version has been flagged. The creation of a new version seems to solve that problem. I'm not sure if purging does the job.

One example is this version http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ernst_August_Prinz_von_Hannover&oldid=49595008 that was no longer shown after is was flagged as sighted.

I don't understand this issue. Is it that the current version is sighted, but the previous revision to the current shows instead? And by "shows", is this just the regular url to a page with no stable/oldid parameters or not?

Well, I couldn't reproduce this issue, but what several people report seems to be exactly what you mentioned, that the current version is sighted, but the previous revision to the current shows instead. "Shows" indeed means the regular url with no stable/oldid parameters.

Benutzer:Perrak reports that he didn't have this problem with his regular admin/editor account, but only with his nonadmin/noneditor sockpuppet.

There is now a screenshot: http://tusker.bplaced.net/wiki/

Purging the squid caches does seem to solve the problem.

Any other instances?
