Currently, there is no way to create a URL that will link to, say, page 2 or 3 of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:NewPages and which will consequently always take you to page 2 or 3 regardless of what is on them, and thus constantly update itself just like the main http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:NewPages link to page 1 does. Current URLs such as http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:NewPages&offset=20080814214044&limit=500&hidebots=1&hidepatrolled=1 will only show a fixed, static range of contributions and despite that range being on page 3 at the time I took it, the link will take you to that specific range of contributions, be it on page 3 or 300, and not to page 3. Thus, a "&page=x" feature would be useful to people patrolling new edits, tagging new articles for speedy deletion where necessary but who want to only look at articles that have been around for a while so as not to tag articles that are still being built. Just use the "earliest" parameter (&dir=prev).
