It would be helpful if there was a link to the home wiki account of every user in [[Special:GlobalUsers]]. Now that SUL is enabled many users contribute to tens of wikis and the proposed link can be used to find quickly the home wiki of a certain user to be able to contact him on that wiki (where he is probably most active). Thanks.
To brion for review. I think it's a feature request worth implementing. Maybe Andrew is a taker for this?
This would change the home wiki just as an internal status. And would open again the bug of choosing home wiki.
Re comment 2: can you be more specific. Change the home wiki as an internal status? Which bug?
"The "home wiki" is a concept used by SUL (...) After merge, the home wiki has no significance and is not displayed publically." (Tim) http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.science.linguistics.wikipedia.technical/38384
I think this opinion could be revised. If 'global user <talk> pages' would ever become a reality, this information would be more public anyway.
See also bug 14234 which may be related.
Sticking this one on Tim's list alongside bug 14234.
Home wiki in CA is not even slightly useful. In fact, sometimes it's misleading. It was also removed from Special:CentralAuth's interface recently. See bug 14234. I think we should close this as a WONTFIX.
