Description P. Birken 2008-08-05 11:46:23 UTC
Since the introduction of AJAX-flagging, the secondary tools like Special:OldReviewedPages have more lag than before, meaning that before, there was no noticable lag and now articles that have been sighted are still in those lists. Same is true for the tool of Magnus (http://toolserver.org/~magnus/deep_out_of_sight.php) and the tool of Aka (http://toolserver.org/~aka/cgi-bin/reviewcnt.cgi?lang=german&action=outofdatereviews), both of which take their data from that page afaik.

Mh, actually, Aka's tool just stopped producing reasonable output, might be related :-)

Sorry, that was wrong: Special:OldReviewedPages is still up to date, but was not updated properly yesterday. So, there are a lot of pages in there, where people did flag, but the flag was not stored in the log, the box was not updated and oldreviewedpages was not updated. The manual fix is to remove the last flag and set it again, which is a serious nuisance. Is there a possibility to do that in an easier way?

Otherwise, the problem about the tools on the toolserver is as described. Might be something they have to fix, maybe on the flagged revs side?

Yes, the log/cache issues where a one time thing, due to a bug that was fixed already. A null edit should work to fix the pages, though not the logs.

Toolserver has been down lately altogether. Seems to be up as of now though.
