Compare [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0b/MP-Kepler.svg original SVG] vs. [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0b/MP-Kepler.svg/600px-MP-Kepler.svg.png rendered PNG]. They differ. In the SVG image there is big dot symbolising Sun, and in the rendered png there is not. A similar problem occurs with [http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b0/Kochanski-1.svg] (see [http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Kochanski-1.svg]). It is also created with MetaPost and also the rendered image has no dots.
What is your configuration system ? no diff with : Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080410 SUSE/2.0.0.14-0.2.3 Firefox/2.0.0.14 Diff existing with Konquéror 3.5.1 under same system
Firefox 3.01, Windows XP (tested on two different machines) Also on IE7 in PNG there is no dot. (SVG is not supported by IE)
Confirmed on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1. First image (svg) has a dot, second (png rendering) does not.
Fixed by upgrade of librsvg.
