Description Sylvain Agostini 2008-08-04 04:23:14 UTC
Hi semantic forms developers,

Here is my problem, I don't really know if it is a bug in the semaintic extension or in yours, sorry if I mistook.

I created 3 properties , Event (page type), Date (date type) summary (text type)
Then I want to create a template name Event which will be the base for all event that will appear in the semantic calendar.
I follow the form, filling all the fields
Then when I save I have this php error

Fatal error: Call to a member function getText() on a non-object in /var/suzupedia/extensions/SemanticMediaWiki/includes/SMW_Factbox.php on line 43

I went to the file which is provided by the semantic extension, and it correspond to the point to get the title of the factbox.

If I add property directly in a page the factbox appears without problem

does anyone know how I can easily fix it? I don't know php coding...

Basic fact
OS : Debian Etch
Mediawiki version 1.12
Semantic Extension : 1.2
Semantic form : 1.2.8

Thanks

Sylvain

Hi,

This is actually a bug in Semantic MediaWiki, and I know that for sure because I actually fixed it there. If you get the latest version of SMW from SVN, it will contain the fix for that bug, or you can just change your code manually to match this:

r1=37482&r2=37925">http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/extensions/SemanticMediaWiki/includes/SMW_Factbox.php?r1=37482&r2=37925

Thanks,
I fixed it in my installation now.
Good Job
