At Wikimania Anthere announced the approval of the Egyptian Arab Wikipedia (arz). This project needs to be created with a comined CC-by-sa and GFDL license as per instructions from Erik Moeller. Please create this new Wikipedia :) Thanks, GerardM

The setting of the arz.wikipedia should be using Arabic writing , i.e. from right to left to avoid problems with writing. Writing using Latin alphabet should be allowe as well as an option for writing names in original language. ~~~~
Please postpone the creation of this wiki. there is a discussion about requesting its closure (abortion).

I would like to inquire about the reason for delay in starting this wikipedia as it hass been approved more that 65 days ago, many thanks . ~~~~
There's no reason why this wiki should be postponed or cancelled. The Langcom has given green light for this. Apparently there are opposers too, but we should move on and give this wiki a go already.
I think 130 days of waiting is too much and is justified to raise the priority .~~~~
This wiki is now online @ http://arz.wikipedia.org. I think that should include all requested issues for this bug. If this is incorrect, please do feel free to reopen it. Thanks!

Oops, not "Wt/arz" but "Wp/arz", see [[incubator:Special:PrefixIndex/Wp/arz]]! sorry
Referring to comment #10, comment #11: ... unless there is (or will be) an import user, see [[incubator:Incubator:Site_creation_log]] (but the existing script of Tim will be faster ;-)
Nevermind, it looks like wiki contents always had been imported by stewards, so will time too; sorry for spamming :-(
