After a discussion at http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilfe_Diskussion:Gesichtete_und_gepr%C3%BCfte_Versionen#Kriterien_f.C3.BCr_Sichterstatus, it was decided to reduce the number of edits needed for autopromotion to editor from 500 to 300. Thus, please change $wgFlaggedRevsAutopromote['totalContentEdits'] to 300.
What about $wgFlaggedRevsAutopromote['edits'] ? Should that be left at 500? This is for any edits at all, including talk pages and such. Also, 'editComments' is still at a mere 5, should that be changed?
You're right, $wgFlaggedRevsAutopromote['edits'] should be reduced to 300 as well. As for editComments, I think it is sufficient for the requirement to be there, if you got 5, then you have grasped the concept, that should be enough.
Set.
After further discussion with Aaron, we would like some changes: $wgFlaggedRevsAutopromote['editComments'] should be increased to 30 and $wgFlaggedRevsAutopromote['recentContentEdits'] should be decreased to 5.
Should 'email' be set to false?
No, I like that: If there's an incentive for people to provide their emails, that's nice.
BTW: http://noc.wikimedia.org/conf/highlight.php?file=flaggedrevs.php is a bit confusing (for dewiki): $wgUseStableTemplates = false; ~ 20 lines later: $wgUseStableTemplates = true; The latter is the correct setting.
(In reply to comment #6) > No, I like that: If there's an incentive for people to provide their emails, > that's nice. > But it is worth having less editors? I'd rather more pages be synced than now.
OK, you're right. Let's set 'email' to false and see if it works.
Done. Enjoy!
Please set 'email' to false.
