Please add a function to feed a ticket into yahoo or google translation service so that a translation can occur at a button touvh.

I don't like this, we don't really want people to use a translation service unless it's necessary (1. there's private info; 2. you should really only answer tickets that you understand). A "button" would just make people more likely to assume that they should do one of the above things.
Comment 2 Guillaume Paumier 2010-02-13 01:50:11 UTC
Agree with Casey on both points.
Comment 3 Philippe Beaudette 2010-02-15 05:08:14 UTC
Perhaps it's an edge case, but I wouldn't mind having this. Not to answer tickets, but because I sometimes go back to tickets to see what happened in researching for other issues. When I get there, it's a dead end if I don't understand the language - or it's a significant level of effort to find someone who does.

I'd strongly encourage us to re-evaluate this - possibly a right that can be assigned to people who understand what it's for?

I'd still personally disagree here. You're free to put something through Google Translate if you'd like, but if you do that, you know that you should snip out the private information (name, address, signature block, etc)... I really can't see how any "button" we'd add would be able to know not to send that information.

Is there any reason copy-paste can't be used here?
