I think it makes sense to add generic support for subst (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Subst) in template definition. This might get used in various forms when page is created or edited.

Might be as simple as adding a template parameter "subst" which will add "subst:" in front of template name:

{{subst:Template name
|param=value
|...
}}

I see no reason to allow this; this behavior can already be enabled through existing SF functionality.
