Frequently on enwiki when checking large ranges the limit for IPs is reached and it is necessary to go through the list of IPs checking them individually. Often, however, it isn't necessary to check all the entries in the CU database. If it were possible to scan within a limited time period -- say, the last week -- that would make checking a lot easier in a lot of cases. Obviously it wouldn't cover every circumstance, but it would be a very useful addition.

One thought: - In some cases people will want specific date ranges, but a lot of the time people will find it easier to say "the last <n> weeks" and not have to calculate exact dates. The attached mock-up shows one way this could neatly be done.
