Description Ryan Schmidt 2005-02-07 20:01:24 UTC
I read about the pipe trick (automatic conversion of wikitext) here:

http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:
Piped_link#Automatic_conversion_of_the_wikitext_.28pipe_trick.29

So when creating a wiki page which had lots of links to other sections of itself, I
started trying to write things like "#Contact" to construct a link to the Contact
anchor on this page and make "Contact" the text of the link. (If I just wrote
#Contact the text of the link would be "#Contact" which I don't want.)

But this shortcut doesn't seem to work. Instead I have to write
"Contact". Can the shortcut be added? Would be nice.
