Description Dan Wolff 2008-07-22 15:57:24 UTC
An example of this convertion would be "123456" -> "123,456". (same difference as e.g. {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} and {{NUMBEROFARTICLES:R}})

This would be very useful together with {{#expr}}. Perhaps there isn't need for a separate parser function, but that you could add that functionality to {{#expr}} somehow (a new parameter?).

{{formatnum:{{#expr: ...}}}} works for me. formatnum: also uses language-specific separators. Marking bug invalid.
