Description P. Birken 2008-07-21 18:41:13 UTC
The edit messages (revreview-auto-w and revreview-auto-w-old) do not convey an important message. They do not change how an editor would edit a page and that functionality should therefore be removed, to keep the UI as slim as possible. By comparison, the message that a page is semiprotected or protected corresponds to certain internal rules about editing pages. This is not the case here: that you should not vandalize a page is not something you have to mention. See also http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Edit-bandwurm.png.
