Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

In a number of places the value of [[MediaWiki:Mainpage]] is used where [[MediaWiki:Mainpage-url]] is the one that *should* be used. I'm not totally sure that this is the case, but if you follow the syntax used on other [[MediaWiki:Sidebar]] items Mainpage should be the text and Mainpage-url the main page's name.

It's as if "[[{{MediaWiki:Mainpage}}]]" is used when it ought to be "[[{{MediaWiki:Mainpage-url}}|{{MediaWiki:Mainpage}}]]".

I'm not sure I found all places, but here are some

* The logo link in all themes except Modern, which doesn't seem to have the logo link at all
* [[Special:Preferences]] -> Skin -> each preview link
* When the text "Back to [[main page]]" is displayed:
** Log out
** Log in (without returnto)
** Delete any page (as sysop) -> Do the delete
** [[Special:Asdf]] (special page that doesn't exist)
* E.g. in [[MediaWiki:Exporttext]] the default message suggests to export the [[MediaWiki:Mainpage]] instead of [[MediaWiki:Mainpage-url]]
* In som system messages $1 is replaced by the main page.
