Description Susan Lesch 2008-07-12 04:33:20 UTC
Greetings. Can you make self links[1] or something like them function in a sidebar[2]? Just plain text, no link, for the page one is on. It might help people orient themselves and find their way around Wikipedia. (Maybe it is impossible. For example, a case was made for red links in bug 8383.) If bolding text would ever jerk the list visually up and down (which might for example happen if one long line became two lines), then normal-weight font would be best. Thank you either way.

The sidebar is cached in a form which doesn't provide information about the original titles. Even if that info was added, I don't know if the existence checks would cause unreasonable performance hit.
