I think a SUL cookie is necesary. Logging into every wiki individual is a bit annoying.

While at it a 30 day expiration for such a cookie seems annoying. I should be able to set a longer timespan - even indefinite expiration.

I am told on #Wikimedia that this bug has been implemented and called "centralauth_*". When I log into any specific wiki where I have a SUL account I get cookies for the local wiki and I do not get a "centralauth_*" cookie. I am unsure what is the source of the problem.

According to IRC and [[Special:GlobalUsers]] White Cat doesn't have a SUL account.
