Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Max Bidlingmaier 2008-06-10 06:03:49 UTC
Templates included in a page will render some times and some times not.

For examlpe the {{SITENAME}} in the footer is shown as {{SITENAME}} on first loading the page. After several reloads the content of {{SITENAME}} is shown. Doing some more reloads, the plain {{SITENAME}} is shown again. Same thing for every other template.

I tried to update to 1.12.0 but something went awfully wrong here. My pages got destroyed by the update process. Every tag like {,[,< and <,],} got doubled, some characters missed, so for example <div xxxxxxxxx went do <<iv and so on. Could those to things be connected?

The same error is reported here: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/wiki/wikitech/133321

greets
Max

Need a proper steps to reproduce. Otherwise this will be a "WORKSFORME" and this report should be considered a configuration issue.
