If only ?diff= is given, the upper tabs as well as the categories are the ones of the Main_Page.
(navigation links lead to the Main_Page, then)

Also <- Show previous diff and Show next diff -> links have Main_Page in link (title=Main_Page) as well as Toolbox links either leads to Main_Page related special pages (eg. WhatLinksHere) or uses title=Main_Page (print, permalink...).
