However indic scripts words are introduced by a template which provides span markup with lang parameter, they are not rendered correctly in text area when articles are displayed. In edit box and in table they are well rendered. The same code renders well in en:WP and not in eo:WP when pasted from en:WP. The text is well rendered with IE and not with Firefox. Example : <span xml:lang="ne" lang="ne">अन्नपूर्णा</span>
Same browser... if it behaves oddly, report a bug upstream with specific examples and description of incorrect behavior. (Note behavior may differ between browser and OS versions; be sure you're testing against the latest versions, and have correct fonts.)
Good display : * en:WP / Firefox * eo:WP / Internet Explorer * eo:WP / Firefox in edit window and in table Bad display * eo:WP / Firefox when the article is displaid see http://eo.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dosiero:HindajSkriba%C4%B5oj.jpg the indic script word is extended and displaid over the next word as if between each letter it would be an additional one. I am using the same last version of Firefox with the same computer (I guess it uses the same fonts in every cases) The bug occurs only when Firefox should display an article in eo:WP.
I get good display for both languages in: * Firefox 3.0rc1 / Mac OS X 10.5 * Firefox 2.0.0.12 / Windows XP SP2 * Internet Explorer 7 / Windows XP SP2 (I'm not 100% sure FF is handling the indic script properly, but I don't see the overlapping text that's in your sample.) No difference at all between en.wikipedia and eo.wikipedia is visible.
Logging out I have no more problem. The bug comes from my user css that I copied from german WP.
