Can we have in Special:Log/newusers the option to filter the log with respect to the three kinds of entries:
* New user account
* ... created new account ...
* Account created automatically
Maybe (hide; show) options will be best. At least to differentiate among the New user account (created locally for first) and Account created automatically (after users' SUL).

If relevant, can we have different counters of these two categories of users?

I added these filters to my gadget. It's definitely a hack (and an ugly one because it depends on the translated messages). But it works.
