Sometimes after a merge the email confirmation date mysteriously resets. For me and one of my bots the email confirmation date turned out to be the email confirmation date at the home wiki, as expected. However for CommonsDelinker the date was set to "12:16, 28 May 2008" which was the date from when I first logged in on that account on the English Wikipedia. Note that the merge of CommonsDelinker was done about 5 days ago, while my own account was merged later.

I have also heard users whose email confirmation date was reset to the date they were renamed, which may or may not be a related bug.
