Hi, In the e-mail authentication message, [[Special:ConfirmEmail]] appears as a localized string, such as [[특수기능:ConfirmEmail]]. In the message, 특수기능 is expanded as %ED%8A%B9%EC%88%98%EA%B8%B0%EB%8A%A5 However, when you click on the link in MSIE, it gets expanded to %C3%8D%C2%8A%C2%B9%C3%AC%C2%88%C2%98%C3%AA%C2%B8%C2%B0%C3%AB%C2%8A%C2%A5 Consequently, the authentication will fail. Workaround: use [[Special:]] without urlencoding Tested with Gmail and MSIE6. Could this be a Gmail problem?
User workaround: copy and paste the link instead of clicking on it.
Sounds like it's probably the same as bug 6957... I can confirm this with ko.wikipedia.org, Gmail, and IE 6.0 on XP SP 2. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 6957 ***
