In the future, this special page will be one of the main hubs of vandalfighting. So, two suggestions. First of all, the page is very rarely empty and thus it is possible that edits that are not sighted immediately remain in the unsighted page for hours or maybe more. Therefore, it would be very very very good to have some indication of the age of the edits in there, even if it is only approximate. Second, the quality of sighting is better the more the people know about a subject. However, only few categories contain a significant number of entries, so it would be nice if the category query could go over subcategories too. One level would already be an improvement.
The first one may be doable
First item done in r34745. The other is not implementable at this time.
Would it be possible to sort entries not by page_id but by time in that queue? Or to somewhere show the max? The last thing would be good for automatic evaluation of the feature.
Sorting by page_id is fast, anything will get slow (I've already changed how categories query and sort too). Toolserver could have something like this though.

I reopened this bug because of the second item. It turns out, that the usefulness of flagged revisions could be increased significantly if the category scan could run over subcategories too. This is also one of the most often mentioned feature requests. So, anything possible? Maybe a combination with category-tree, so that you could click yourself through the tree while querying Special:OldReviewedPages for one category at a time? Could you imagine the toolserver-guys to do anything?
Even a category tree method would be sort of ugly. It takes a full category scan to find the subcategories, at least as things are indexed now. Heh, as of now, the outdated page list has 150 item, not much to filter ;) It ideally should be kept low.
Sorting was added recently, r39924.
