Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Bryan Tong Minh 2008-05-09 13:46:14 UTC
Image moving should leave an entry in the upload history since this is the most obvious place to look for filename changes.

Victor, can you please look into this?
Comment 2 Victor Vasiliev 2008-08-17 22:14:55 UTC
I'm not sure whether it's doable now. Moving file would cause the whole file be copied to the archive. Probably if we restruct the tables, then it would be possible.

[Removing RESOLVED LATER as discussed in http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2012-November/064240.html . Reopening and setting priority to "Lowest". For future reference, please use either RESOLVED WONTFIX (for issues that will not be fixed), or simply set lowest priority. Thanks a lot!]
