You do link ?stable=1 and ?stable=0 to each other, see: http://de.labs.wikimedia.org/wiki/Hauptseite http://de.labs.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hauptseite&stable=0 But if there is a (maybe more correct) reviewed revision, nobody will know; unless he/she is examining ?action=history! Address might be: http://de.labs.wikimedia.org/wiki/Hauptseite?reviewed=1 (and not /w/index.php?title= ;-)
Sorry, what is this bug asking for?
A link to http://de.labs.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hauptseite&oldid=25224 How to find a quality revision else, if there is a more current (but maybe worse) sighted one? You only can reach that older but more accurate "reviewed article" only by searching in the revision history, yet! So, http://de.labs.wikimedia.org/wiki/Hauptseite has a reviewed revision. On Wikipedia an article would have been reviewed by a notable person (e.g. a professor), of course. This reviewed revision is probably more accurate than a "sighted" one that came later. A revision is sighted if there is no vandalism, but maybe content got added that would be declared as *wrong* by a specialist.
An admin edit the site message to have a stableid=best link if desired. That will go to the quality revision if there is one.
Link: http://de.labs.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hauptseite&stableid=25224 (sorry, with parameter "stableid=" ;-) Which message is it (to change the URL, not just the text)? Shouldn't the standard be the way I described it? Most wikis will need to change this behaviour, maybe not knowing how.
Oh, and I do not request a link to the quality rev *instead of*, *but additionally* to the link towards the checked/sighted rev! Both should be easily *accessible* ;-)
(In reply to comment #5) > Oh, and I do not request a link to the quality rev *instead of*, *but > additionally* to the link towards the checked/sighted rev! > > Both should be easily *accessible* ;-) > Right. This should be locally resolvable.
Thanks bug 14001 I now understand! Good morning myself ;-) There is a parameter &stableid=best :-) Is there a help page anywhere, that is mentioning this? How do non-developer know that? Even http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:FlaggedRevs does not contain infos about that parameter(s).
