This is not really a bug, but I think it should be fixed none the less: Special:Version on 1.12 (also the current Snapshot used on the english wikipedia) says that the software is under "either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version". But the link a few pages later points to http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html, which now is version 3 of the license.

The link used to end up with GPL v2, but later GPL v3 was released and the link in MediaWiki was not updated. It is no fixed by r34195.
