I am a sysop on one of the Wikipedias.

There was a user who created his user page with nonsense in it, shortly after he created the account.

When the user page was deleted, the corresponding entry of the user being created disappeared from Recent Changes.

I confirm this bug. For the record, the new account will be listed under the User creation log, but not under recentchanges. I believe it has something to do with Newuserlog extension, so I'm moving the bug.
