Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Zachary Hauri 2008-04-07 20:31:15 UTC
The RecentChanges IRC for #fi.wikinews is gone. Apparently it was there and working in the past, but something's happened to make it disappear.

Confirmed (bumping).

Comment 4 Brion Vibber 2008-08-07 21:25:08 UTC
Known to currently be missing:

* #fi.wikinews
* #el.wikiversity
* #quality.wikipedia

Looks like we need to improve our internal documentation on this system so we can get in and figure out what the heck is going on...

+shell
Comment 6 Mike.lifeguard 2009-03-23 01:40:51 UTC
We have an 'IRC' component now.
Comment 7 Ryan (Rjd0060) 2009-03-27 20:25:47 UTC
#wikimania2009.wikimedia is also missing.
Comment 8 Brion Vibber 2009-03-30 22:03:18 UTC
We're not really sure what's going on here in part because the system is poorly understood and poorly documented. ;) May or may not need to poke some kind of permission or create a channel or allow the bot to enter it, or something.
Comment 9 Platonides 2009-03-30 22:23:13 UTC
The check on the bot to see if it's joined there should be moved to the ircd, automatically joining it if it's not there (it has to check it anyway and the C check will be faster than python).
Comment 10 Fred Vassard 2009-06-16 20:11:01 UTC
Upgrading the IRCD server seems to have fixed these problems.
Resolving.
