The stats provided by domas' wikistats only contain a limited amount of all search queries, namely only those done via Special:Search/searchterm. However since most searches are in the form Special:Search?search=searchterm, the majority is not logged. Search statistics can be very useful :)

The file on <http://tools.wikimedia.de/~bryan/stats/search/search-20080323-200000.txt> contains statistics of all searches via Special:Search/searchterm, which is clearly not all of them.

As of June 21, 2012 we are logging lucene search results. Please contact me if you are interested in the data.

[mass-moving wikistats reports from Wikimedia→Statistics to Analytics→Wikistats to have stats issues under one Bugzilla product (see bug 42088) - sorry for the bugspam!]
