Description cjschult 2008-03-15 21:18:12 UTC
A link to the redirect page [[advertisements]] in en.wikipedia is invisible (is rendered as a null). The redirect page appears to be corrupted, as no tabs appear at the top of the page, and it cannot be edited. Of course, any particular link to it can be fixed by linking to the singular equivalent, "[[advertisement]]s".

I can't see what you are reporting here. [[advertisements]] redirects to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advertisements successfully; http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Advertisements&redirect=no renders fine too. Can you provide an screenshot of the bug please?
Comment 2 Andrew Garrett 2008-03-16 09:08:45 UTC
I expect this is due to a browser extension which blocks links with this title (in a misguided attempt to remove advertisements from pages).
Comment 3 cjschult 2008-03-17 04:29:37 UTC
The problem occurred in 3 browsers: Iexplorer, Firefix, Opera. The problem went away when I disabled Norton Internet Security. Thus the true culprit was revealed. Thanks to all who worked in this.
