When the only categories on a page are hidden, the div where the category list would normally be showing is still there. When there are no categories at all on a page, that div disappears, but now it just shows as a grey box on the bottom. It should probably be solved by adding a CSS class "onlyhiddencats" or something to it, and make it hidden then. Or make the hidden div containing the hidden categories separate from the one containing the visible categories. Your choice.
