The 2nd image on
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Angela/Sandbox&oldid=9309957 does
not display.

It seems there needs to be an internal link in the caption, after the external
link, for the image to display.

Adding a link to 2004 made it work:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Angela/Sandbox&oldid=9309964

For reference, this is actually a dupe of bug 1033, which has some more details
about why things behaved like they did. The fix applied seems reasonable enough,
though, so I'll just resolve that one too.
