Items in several special pages are not numbered correctly in the Arabic (ar) Wikipedia. These special pages are: [[ar:Special:Ancientpages]], [[ar:Special:Fewestrevisions]], [[ar:Special:Mostlinkedcategories]], [[ar:Special:Mostlinked]], [[ar:Mostlinkedtemplates]] and many others. (You can say that nearly all special pages suffer from this bug.) Bug description: For example in [[ar:Special:Wantedcategories]] numbering goes normally from item 1 to item 120 then start again from 1 ... ... 119. item name 120. item name 1. item name 2. item name ... ... Notes: 1-On reloading page number at which the list breaks differs (I tried it several times and it changed from 120 to 73 to 202, etc). 2-I noticed this using Firefox. I can't reproduce this using IE and didn't try other browsers. 3-This bug affects other Arabic wikis: arwiktionary, arwikibooks, arwikisource, etc.
Confirmed in Firefox 3.0b2; can't reproduce in Safari 3.0.4 or Opera 9.20. I'm seeing a break in the list at #167 here: http://ar.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%D8%AE%D8%A7%D8%B5:%D8%AA%D8%B5%D9%86%D9%8A%D9%81%D8%A7%D8%AA_%D9%85%D8%B7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%A8%D8%A9&limit=500&offset=0 Pretty good chance this is some Gecko bug affecting Firefox specifically.
Problem does not occur for me, if Javascript is disabled. With Javascript enabled, the break seems to occur at a random number. A reload of the page shows different numberings of the lines. FF 2.0.0.12
Seems to have been fixed. Firefox 3.6.13 under Linux Ubuntu 10.10 Wikipedia is running: MediaWiki: 1.16wmf4 r79563 PHP: 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.12wm1 (apache2handler) MySQL: 5.1.47-facebook-r3550-log
