Dear Brion Our current ArbCom Wiki is at http://arbcomwiki.gwwebsite.com/ However it is hosted bij one of the members (Jeroen) personal Ubuntu PC and the guy is not going for re-election. Could you please set up a ArbCom Wiki on Wikimedia servers for the nl.wiki? Dbase for import is available at jeroenvrp@xs4all.nl. As soon as the dbase is handed over, the current ArbCom Wiki wil be set to read-only. Stick it in bugzilla; if Jens or River doesn't get to it before I do I'll set it up when I roll back 'round to site updates tomorrow. -- brion oscar van dillen wrote: > anything decided/done on this yet? > > On Feb 4, 2008 2:12 PM, oscar van dillen <oscarvandillen@wikimedia.org > <mailto:oscarvandillen@wikimedia.org>> wrote: > > dear brion, > > could you please help in opening a dedicated wiki for the dutch > arbcom asap, which is hosted on a private server of jeroenvrp > (member up for re-election now) at > http://arbcomwiki.gwwebsite.com/index.php/Hoofdpagina so far. > in view of new elections ongoing this had better be done on > wikimedia-servers imho, i conferred this also with dolledre, one of > the current members. > personally, as long as i am no member, i myself do not want nor need > an account, steward-actions had best be done by a non-nl steward or > developer, such as yourself. > > here is the list of members to have access at the moment (until end > of february): > > Eve - eve.wiki@gmail.com <mailto:eve.wiki@gmail.com> > > Venullian - venullian.wiki@gmail.com <mailto:venullian.wiki@gmail.com> > > Niels - nielsf.wiki@gmail.com <mailto:nielsf.wiki@gmail.com> > > Art_Unbound - mvonder@xs4all.nl <mailto:mvonder@xs4all.nl> > > Chris - cewiki@gmail.com <mailto:cewiki@gmail.com> > > Dolledre - dolledre@gmail.com <mailto:dolledre@gmail.com> > > Jeroenvrp - jeroenvrp@xs4all.nl <mailto:jeroenvrp@xs4all.nl> > > you find the wikipedia pages here > http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Arbitragecommissie/Leden > > hope to hear from you soon, you can also discuss it further with > dolledre dolledre@gmail.com <mailto:dolledre@gmail.com> or the > arbcom at <http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afbeelding:Arbcom.svg> > > thanks in advance and all the best, > oscar > > -- > *edito ergo sum* > > ****************** > The information contained in this message is confidential and may be > legally privileged. I think http://arbcom.nl.wikipedia.org/ would be a better URL considering en's is at http://arbcom.en.wikipedia.org/ . It would be good to be consistent. :-) (switched the URL, revert if you disagree)
http://arbcom.nl.wikipedia.org/ is a great idea Casey Brown indeed more consistent.
*wonders whatever happened with this* (I was looking for Niels' e-mail for something and found this bug which hasn't been done yet)
Assigning an Arbcom website http://arbcom.nl.wikipedia.org would still be much desired and appreciated. After last weeks elections, members of the Dutch Arbcom are: Niels - nielsf.wiki@gmail.com <mailto:nielsf.wiki@gmail.com> Art_Unbound - mvonder@xs4all.nl <mailto:mvonder@xs4all.nl> Dolledre - dolledre@gmail.com <mailto:dolledre@gmail.com> Robert - brinkie@xs4all.nl <mailto:brinkie@xs4all.nl> PaulB - paul.becherer@gemail.com <mailto:paul.becherer@gemail.com> valhallasw - valhallasw@gmail.com <mailto:valhallasw@gmail.com> CaAl - wiki@caal.net <mailto:wiki@caal.net> Art.

I have requested the database from jeroenvrp@xs4all.nl. Once received, I can import it and you should be good to go.
I went ahead and imported the database dump, as well as added the logo from the old wiki to the new. It should now be setup and ready for login and such. Please test and if there is an issue, do not hesitate to let me know! Best regards, RobH
