Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.

You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Siebrand Mazeland 2008-02-02 17:09:34 UTC
Almost all extensions in SVN now use wfLoadExtensionMessages to load messages. In some i18n files a hack has been implemented to allow some sort of fallback using something like "$messages['kk'] = $messages['kk-cyrl'];" This needs to be added for all extensions. Those extensions not using wfLoadExtensionMessages do not support fallback languages or have their own implementation.

It would be a Good Thing if fallback was supported using the $fallback defined in MessagesXx.php files at least for extensions using wfLoadExtensionMessages.
