I can only see one example currently, but I assume there are others, and other characters are similarly affected.
" (quotes) were converted to " in the username after the switch to the new log. I assume a script was written to transfer from old log to new, and it was a bug in this script. I also assume this can be fixed in a similar manner.

Not an issue with new entries as of r113601. Tested with quote " and &. Closing.
