Created attachment 4549 [details] screen dump · IE Explorer 6.0.X · table problem with center in an RTL environment · 01.jpg Dear friends; This report is about the rendering of three images at [[m:wikt:yi:project:IRC]] in Internet Explorer Version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp:sp2_gdr.070227-2254 on Windows XP SP2 . The most actual revision now is http://yi.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=project:IRC&oldid=11588 where the table contains « dir ="ltr" » and renders as expected. While creating olther revisions as http://yi.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=project:IRC&oldid=11585 for unknown reasons you may see the middle picture in « Preview » but not when the page is saved. Tonight I will look at these revisions in other browsers and add bug dependencies. Best regards Reinhardt [[user:Gangleri]]
I suggest you also try to reproduce the bug in some other Right-To-Left wikis such as Persian or Arabic ones (like in their Sandbox).

The bug is specific to IE when the browser window is resized: a) If you carefully set the widht of either the Farsi or Pashto page to the widht of the first example in the screen dump you will / may see all three images. b) If you carefully set the widht of either the Farsi or Pashto page to the widht of the second example in the screen dump you will / may see *only two* images. There are a lot of other known bugs related to « redraw » of BIDi content if a IE browser window is resized. Best regards Reinhardt [[user:Gangleri]]

Adding testme. Please test with Internet Explorer 8 and note the result here.
I rechecked this bug now with IE7, and it looks fine. Does this still persist in other versions of IE?
I have checked this with IE9 and the problem does not exist as well. I think upgrading IE is the fastest solution :)
I tested all these pages with IE 6, 7, 8, and tried resizing windows, too. All the images were shown reasonably and the directionality was mostly OK too. (The "Chat!" button is a bit broken, but for a different reason.)
